For many years, during fly season, we used commercial farm spray on the goats every morning before milking. Now we use a dry shampoo bar, rubbing from the head down the back and one swipe down each side of a goat. Each application keeps the flies off the goats for three to four days.
We have several customers that use it on their horses. They wipe the dry bar around the horse’s eyes, chest and stomach a couple of times a week and have stopped using commercial fly spray and fly masks.
